Summer

Okay, so I have been a bit of a slacker blogger for um... about 3 months. This has been the summer of technological breakdowns. My computer got a bad case of malware in June and was in the shop for over four weeks (uh-huh, four weeks), the SD card to our nice camera self-destructed in my hand (it had Christmas through Annie's birthday on it - kind of important), and my little digital camera took a bath in chocolate milk and is fried. Soooo, I'm going to blame my lack of blogging on those things since it seemed like my pictures and journals were tied up in some way or another for most of the summer. Yep, we'll go with that :)

So, here is a recap of our summer in pictures:
We had a huge adoption fundraiser thrift sale in May

Enjoying the pretty petals from the flowering crabtree

Happy 2nd Birthday, Anne Belen!! June 10th, 2011

Lots of princess and Hello Kitty

Birthday celebration with G&G Pete and Oni

Lovely visit with Rahel, Tiana, & Tsega in June

Annie loved to take her purse everywhere this summer

Fun with hair

First pontoon ride with Grandma and Grandpa in Chetek

Lots of swimming and going to the splash pad

Annie absolutely adores her cousins

Fourth of July picnic at the State Park

 Splashing with Ty

 Mommy's girl

 Watching Grandpa's fireworks

Waiting for the big show wearing Trey's jammies

Carter and Jackson loved the fireworks but Annie screamed and cried. She asked to go home when the big ones started :(

We went on lots of day trips with Grandma Leslie and Aunt Mollie this summer. The highlight for Annie was the Hello Kitty store in the Mall of America.

Riding the carousel at Lark Toys in Wabasha

Grandma and Mollie took a ride too

Our annual trip to Jellystone in Warrens in July

Hangin' with Buppa

My mom and dad rented a villa for the whole family at Jellystone

Matt and Stephie Hedlund flew Matt (my Matt) over to Frankfurt, Germany in August to officiate their wedding ceremony

He had a fabulous time with the Hedlund and Wied families and was able to visit a historic cathedral and go on a Rhine River tour. We were so thankful to have him back home though!

I apologize for the ridiculously long post. I will do better in the future; I promise!!
