For one of my showers my sister-in-law Mollie wrote this little story for one of the games. Everyone got a sheet and had to fill in the blanks with the names of children’s stories. It is so cute I thought I would share it:

Once upon a time, Matt and Brooke decided they wanted to adopt a baby. They were excited when they were referred A Little Princess. They decided they would call her Annie. Before they could bring her home they would need to travel Where the Wild Things Are. After a breakfast of Green Eggs and Ham, they drove to the airport. The weather report had been Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, but they weren’t concerned. As they boarded the plane the flight attendant said, “Looks like A Good Day for Up.” After a Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day on the airplane, Matt and Brooke said, “Good Night Moon” and were fast asleep. In the morning Brooke put on her Corduroy skirt and went to meet their new baby. At the orphanage Matt and Brooke saw their baby. Her bright smiling face exclaimed, “Are you my Mother?” As Brooke held her baby for the first time Annie’s eyes asked, “Momma, do you Love Me?” Then Brooke rocked her and said, “I’ll Love you Forever.”
