We went on our first "camping" trip at the end of July/beginning of August. (We stayed in a nice cabin with a full kitchen and bathroom, so we weren't exactly roughing it!) We went to Jellystone in Warrens and Annie had a blast playing in the water with her cousins all day long. It was great to spend time with family, but being away from home with a baby can be challenging. The first night Annie woke up at 11:00pm and stayed up for most of the night. We shared a cabin with Tyler and Mollie so I felt terrible about keeping them up. I sat up with her, took her into my bed, rocked her, but nothing worked. She just wanted to be in her crib at home. Needless to say, I was dead on my feet the next day so we didn't stay the second night. We were bummed to leave early and miss out on all the fun but Mama needed some sleep!

We took a trip over to Green Bay in the middle of August so that Annie could meet the Lukowitz/Reha side of the family. Matt's Uncle Paul and Aunt Denise had a nice picnic at their home. We had a great time and Annie enjoyed meeting everyone. She was able to meet Grandpa Ed Lukowitz and Grandma Leah Reha who are both in their 90's. Uncle Che rode with us and it was nice to spend time with him - he is always entertaining :-D

Leah had to show Annie off to all of her neighbors :)

Other than that, we spent many days playing with cousins, going to the pool, and bumming around with Grandma Leslie who has the summers off. She likes to plan a lot of little day trips. We went antiquing a few times, shopping in the Cities twice, visited two cheese factories, Crystal Cave, Como Zoo, and spent time with Uncle Ty and Aunt Mollie in River Falls. We have had a very full and fun summer!
