We picked up our dear friend, Endris, from the airport last night. I still cannot believe he is here! We met him in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia when we were there in 2010 and he and I have kept in contact. I've been working on a visa for him for a year and after being denied twice I really didn't think he was going to be able to come. I tried one last time and requested a tourist visa and it was approved. He's going to be staying with us for a month. I have so many things planned for our time that he's going to have to go home to find some rest. We're so excited! Welcome to the USA, Endrisye!
