The Ballerina and the Bug

We had a fun Halloween this year. Annie really likes a show on Netflix called Angelina Ballerina, so she was certain that she wanted to be a ballerina by September. We found a ladybug costume for Sophie for $1.25, so that decided what she was going to be pretty quickly. =)

We carved pumpkins, went downtown trick or treating, had pumpkin shaped pizza with Grandma Leslie and Grandpa Jeff, and then headed out into the neighborhood for even more candy. Sophie insisted that she walk the entire time and if we tried to help her she would scream. Her pumpkin got so heavy that it kept tipping her over, but if we reached to help her carry it she would hold her pumpkin close and say, "Mine!" I'm not sure how many pieces of candy she ate, wrappers and all. Oh, Sophie!

So excited for our first pumpkin carving!

After one swipe of pumpkin guts and seeds Annie said, "That's disgusting!" and she was finished.

The most beautiful ballerina and the most adorable ladybug I have ever seen.
