I started training Sophie two weeks ago and decided to just go all out and take her diapers away during the day. The beginning stages are always difficult because it is messy, but both my girls caught on pretty quickly that pee pee and poo poo go in the potty. After two weeks, she's got it! Sophie is potty trained at 18 months! She's staying dry through naps now too and goes on her potty all by herself. She lets me know she has to go when we're away from home and really likes being able to go in the big bathrooms (though I'm not thrilled about teaching another child not to touch ANYTHING in public restrooms). Way to go, Sophie! We're proud of you, peanut!
